• ​​There will be an Estate Planning Information Session covering wills, trusts, power of attorney, etc. held on Monday, November 9, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the fellowship hall for a headcount. Light refreshments will be served.

• ROOM IN THE INN (RITI) Ministry

  • Morning Chapel will host Room in the Inn (RITI) on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, marking our first hosting night of the Winter 2026–2027 season at Christ the King Lutheran Church at 5:00 PM. We invite our congregation to join us in serving our unsheltered brothers and sisters in Christ by providing a warm meal, shelter, and compassionate care.

  • Additionally, RITI is sponsoring a Pajama Drive for children and youth, requesting pajamas in sizes 2 Toddler through 16/18 Youth, as well as unisex adult sweatpants in sizes XL, 2XL, and 3XL. Your donations will help provide comfort and warmth to those in need.

• ​Let’s Chat on December 5, 2026.  Connect with the Women of MCMBC as we study The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer to dive deeper into the action plan for putting on our armor and "developing a personalized strategy to secure victory".

• Save the date! The Christmas Program will be on Friday, December 19, 2026, at 6:00 pm. Title: “Jesus! The Greatest Gift To The World “This year’s event will be hosted by the Youth, Young Adults and Marriage Ministries. The event will be a formal sit-down dinner with performances by youth, young adults and adults. Everyone, who would like to participate in the gift drawing is asked to bring a gift (Adults $20-$25) and Youth ($10). Sign-up sheets will be in the fellowship hall. 

• ​The Senior Ministry is participating with the Memphis Food Bank. Donations boxes are in the kitchen. The contents will be delivered to a designated location after the 3rd Sunday of each month. All monetary donations should be made to the church and designated specifically for the Memphis Food Bank. They would like to thank everyone for the most recent donation.

• The Trustee Committee has created two new methods to communicate with them in order to submit concerns, recommendations, and/or suggestions as it pertains to the needs, care and maintenance of our church buildings which include the main building and education building.
