• Every Wednesday everyone, who is able, is asked to join in a Voluntary Congregational Prayer and Fasting (start: Bedtime Tuesday and ending at 3 p.m. on Wednesday).

• The Harbor View Care Center Worship Service will be held on Saturday, April 20, at 10 a.m.

• The Men’s Fellowship Meeting will be held in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, April 27, from 10 - 11:30 a.m.

• Opportunity to Serve - “This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men” Titus 3:8. God’s peoples are called to be involved in good works. An opportunity to fulfill that call has come to us in the form of Assisting in building homes for the needy, via Habitat for Humanity. We are looking to be involved in their spring build occurring in April and May. This is open to anyone 16 or older. • The cleaning contract for the church is up for renewal.  Anyone interested in submitting a bid for the new contract can pick up the necessary paperwork from Bro. Harmon after service.  The bid can be turned in to any member of the Trustee Ministry: Bro Harmon, Bro. Askew, Deacon Armstrong, or Deacon Puryear.  The last day to submit a bid is May 4, 2024. 

• Save the Date: The church will be going to “THE ARK ENCOUNTER” (Exact replica of Noah’s Ark) in KY on July 12-13. This is an overnight trip. Please sign up in the Fellowship Hall if you are interested in participating. This will allow us to make travel arrangements to accommodate attendees. Transportation will be provided; however, you will be responsible for your entry ticket for the Ark, food, and hotel. Admission for children 10 and under is free. More details regarding cost will be provided in the near future.

• We have a need to add to our Trustee Ministry. This ministry is responsible for looking out for the physical plant of the ministry as well as overseeing various ministry budgets. If you have a desire to serve in this ministry, please contact any of our Deacons or current trustee members for more information.  Thanks, Detrick Harmon Trustee Chairman.

• The Morning Chapel Men’s Ministry is sponsoring a New Christian Mentorship program called Hope in Him.  This will be comprised of MCMBC Godly men mentoring Morning Chapel male youth.  Lamentations 3:24 - The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
